The Uffizi costs €25 bought for the same day and €29 booked in advance, so planning ahead costs €4 more rather than less (2026).

## Booking costs €4 more, not less

The gallery charges €25 for a ticket bought for the day of entry and €29 for one booked in advance. Prices are in euros, and the reduced rate is €2.

That inversion is the least intuitive fact about visiting the Uffizi. Everywhere else advance booking is the cheap route; here it is a €4 surcharge for a guaranteed slot.

Which you should buy depends on the month. In November the same-day ticket is a reasonable bet. In July the €4 is the price of certainty.

## €16 after 4 pm, since January 2026

Entries from 4 pm onwards cost €16, a rate introduced in January 2026 (16:00 on Italian signs).

That is €9 below the same-day price and €13 below the booked one, for the same rooms. The trade is closing time: you are in the building for the last part of the day, not the whole of it.

For anyone in Florence for 48 hours with a long list, the 4 pm entry is the most efficient €16 on this page.

## The PassePartout at €40 beats buying twice

The 5-day PassePartout costs €40 and covers the Uffizi, Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Garden (2026).

Do the arithmetic against single booked tickets: €29 for the Uffizi, €19 for Pitti with all its collections, €13 for Boboli. That is €61 for the same three places.

The version including the Vasari Corridor is €58. There are also annual passes: €80 for all the museums of the complex, €120 for a family, and €25 for Boboli alone.

## The Vasari Corridor: €43, €47 or €58

The Uffizi with the Vasari Corridor costs €43 for the same day and €47 booked in advance, and the corridor supplement on a single visit is €20 (2026).

Set against the €58 PassePartout with the corridor, the combined ticket only makes sense if the corridor is the whole reason you are in Florence and you are leaving the next morning.

## Groups of 11 pay €70 more

Parties of 11 or more pay a supplement of €70, on top of the individual tickets.

Entry is free on the first Sunday of every month, under the national scheme covered on our page about [free museum days](/plan/free-museum-days). A free Sunday at the second most visited museum in Italy is the fullest day of the month, and it is worth knowing that before choosing it.

## 5,294,968 visitors in 2024

The Gallerie degli Uffizi recorded 5,294,968 visitors in 2024, second among Italian state cultural sites, with €61,943,626 in gross takings.

That is the volume behind every timed slot and every queue on the Piazzale degli Uffizi. Only the Colosseum takes more.

## What the price list does not say about your emailed ticket

1 question the official price list does not answer: whether the ticket that arrives in your inbox gets you through the gate as it is, or has to be swapped for a paper one at a separate desk first.

The list covers prices, categories and free days, and stops there. Since this is the detail that costs people their booked slot, no assumption is made here in either direction: confirm it on uffizi.it, or on the confirmation email itself, before you head for the entrance.

All the prices above come from the museum's own tariff list, a single primary source, checked for 2026.

## FAQ

### How much are Uffizi tickets?

€25 if you buy for the same day and €29 if you book in advance (2026). The reduced rate is €2. Booking costs €4 more than turning up, which is the opposite of what most people expect from an Italian museum.

### Is there a cheaper time to visit the Uffizi?

Yes. Since January 2026 entries from 4 pm cost €16, against €25 or €29 earlier in the day. That is the lowest full-price route into the gallery, and it is a genuine saving rather than a discount code.

### Is the Uffizi PassePartout worth it?

It costs €40 for 5 days across the Uffizi, Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Garden (2026). Booked separately those come to €29 plus €19 plus €13. If you are seeing more than the Uffizi alone, the pass wins.

### How much is the Vasari Corridor?

### Is the Uffizi free on the first Sunday of the month?

Yes, entry is free on the first Sunday of every month. Groups of 11 or more pay a €70 supplement on any other day. In 2024 the Gallerie degli Uffizi recorded 5,294,968 visitors, second in Italy.
