The official price is the fastest test there is: the Colosseum is 18.00 euro, the Uffizi 25.00 same day, the Vatican Museums 20.00 plus 5.00 to book, and the Last Supper 15.00 (2026).

## Why the price test works better than the domain test

The price is the 1 thing a copycat site cannot fake. It can buy a convincing domain, copy a layout and rank in search; it cannot sell an 18.00 euro ticket for 18.00 euro, because the markup is the business model. So the number is a harder signal than the address bar.

Use it in that order. Read the official price here, then look at the total you are being asked for, then look at the domain. Two of those three steps take 5 seconds, and the first one is the one nobody does.

## Rome: 18.00 and 20.00 euro

Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine on one ticket valid 24 hours: 18.00 euro full and 2.00 euro reduced for EU citizens aged 18 to 25. The park also sells higher-priced Full Experience routes with the arena floor and the Domus Aurea, and those prices are not confirmed on a primary source here.

Vatican Museums: 20.00 euro full, 10.00 euro reduced, plus 5.00 euro to book the skip-the-line slot online, 5.00 euro for schools and seminaries with a 2.00 euro supplement, and 12.00 euro at Castel Gandolfo. Our source names tickets.museivaticani.va as the only official sales channel. Free on the last Sunday of the month, for children under 7 and for visitors with a disability from 67 percent.

## Florence: the list where booking costs more

Uffizi: 25 euro for the same day, 29 euro booked in advance, 2 euro reduced, and 16 euro for an afternoon entry after 4:00 pm since January 2026. Uffizi plus Vasari Corridor: 43 euro same day, 47 euro booked. Groups of 11 or more pay a 70 euro surcharge, and the first Sunday of the month is free.

Galleria dell'Accademia: 20.00 euro full since February 1, with booking at 4 euro on top and 2 euro reduced for ages 18 to 25. A 48-hour combined ticket with the Bargello is 26 euro and a 72-hour ticket across the 6 museums of the Accademia and Bargello system is 38 euro.

That inverted Uffizi pricing is worth memorizing. Any quote for the Uffizi that sits below 25 euro is not an official ticket, and any quote above 29 euro carries a markup on top of the highest official rate.

## Milan and Venice

The Last Supper is 15 euro full, 2 euro for EU citizens aged 18 to 25, free under 18, and booking is compulsory for every category including the free ones. Two independent official sources agree on that price, which is rare in this list.

Palazzo Ducale is 35 euro, dropping to 30 euro if booked online at least 30 days ahead, 15 euro reduced, and it is a combined ticket for Palazzo Ducale, Museo Correr, the National Archaeological Museum and the monumental rooms of the Marciana library. A Museum Pass at 50 euro, 25 reduced, covers 12 civic museums for 6 months. Booking is not compulsory.

St Mark's Basilica is no longer free: 10 euro for the basilica, 20 euro with the Pala d'Oro, 20 euro with the museum and the Loggia dei Cavalli, 30 euro for everything, 15 euro for the campanile. Every ticket is named from booking, and guided groups enter through a different door at rates roughly 20 percent higher.

## What this page does not have

There is no complete list of official ticket domains on this page, because our sources name only some of them, and a half-checked list of web addresses is exactly the artifact that gets people robbed. Where a source names the channel, as with the Vatican Museums, it is above.

Two further gaps, stated rather than smoothed. The reason card payments fail on Italian official sites is not verified here. And the Full Experience prices at the Colosseum are not confirmed, so a reseller quoting one of them is not being checked by this page.

### How do I know if a ticket site is official?

Compare the price before you compare the design. The Colosseum is 18.00 euro, the Uffizi 25.00 same day, the Last Supper 15.00, the Accademia in Florence 20.00. A site charging 40 or 60 euro for one of those is reselling, whatever its domain looks like.

### Is it illegal to buy from a reseller in Italy?

No, and that is the point: a reseller is a legitimate business selling you a real ticket at a markup, usually 2 to 3 times the official price. The harm is paying 60 euro for an 18.00 euro entry while believing you paid the official price.

### What is the official Vatican Museums ticket site?

tickets.museivaticani.va, which our source names as the only official sales channel. Full entry is 20.00 euro, with 5.00 euro added to book a slot online, and the reduced ticket is 10.00 euro plus the same 5.00. The ticket is valid on its day of issue only and is not refundable.

### Why does booking the Uffizi cost more than turning up?

Because the museum prices it that way: 25 euro for a same-day ticket and 29 euro booked in advance. It is the least intuitive price list in Italy, and it is a useful signal, since a reseller quoting a round number below 25 euro is quoting something that does not exist.

### Is St Mark's Basilica still free?

No. Entry to the basilica alone is 10 euro, basilica with the Pala d'Oro 20 euro, basilica with the museum and Loggia dei Cavalli 20 euro, the full ticket 30 euro and the campanile 15 euro. All tickets are named from the moment of booking.

### My card was refused on an official Italian site. What now?

That refusal is common enough to be the main reason people end up on resellers, and we have not verified the cause on a primary source. Before paying a markup, try a second card, a different browser and the venue's own telephone booking line, which several of the sites priced on this page still operate.
