A single ticket covers the Paestum temples, the Paestum national archaeological museum and the site of Velia for 3 days, at €15 from March to November and €10 from December to February (2026).
One ticket, three places, three days
The Parco archeologico di Paestum e Velia sells one ticket, valid 3 days, for the archaeological area of Paestum, the national archaeological museum of Paestum and the archaeological area of Velia.
You don't choose between the temples and the museum, and you don't pay again the next morning.
€10 in winter, €15 the rest of the year
The full ticket is €15 from March to November and €10 from December to February, and the reduced rate is €2 (2026). The prices are in euros.
The annual pass costs €30 full and €10 reduced. Two visits between March and November cost as much as the pass, and every visit after that is free with it.
8:30 am to 7:30 pm, tickets until 6:30
Paestum and Velia open every day from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm, and the ticket office closes at 6:30 pm (18:30 at the desk).
The last hour is for those already inside. With a 3-day ticket there's no reason to rush a late arrival: buy it, see the museum, and come back to the temples the next morning.
Free on four kinds of day
Entry costs nothing on the first Sunday of every month and on April 25, June 2 and November 4 (2026).
Those four dates are listed on the park's own tariff page. With a 3-day ticket at €15, a free day saves money but also shrinks the visit to one day.
Two sites, two comuni, two addresses
The two areas are in different comuni: Paestum at Via Magna Grecia 9191 in Capaccio Paestum, and Velia at Piazzale Amedeo Maiuri in Ascea Marina, both in the province of Salerno.
The distance between them isn't among the verified figures. It's the reason the ticket lasts 3 days, and the reason to use them.
The 18 to 25 line contradicts itself
The official tariff table lists both a €2 reduced ticket and free entry for ages 18 to 25, and the two lines contradict each other.
This page gives the €2 reduced rate as the published price. If you're 18 to 25, bring ID and ask at the desk whether you pay €2 or nothing. The same page gives 1998 as the year of the UNESCO listing.
Half the price of Pompeii's three days
Pompeii's own three-day ticket, Pompei Plus 3 days, costs €30 for four sites, twice the Paestum price (2026).
Since January 12, 2026 Pompeii sells four tickets: Pompei Express at €20 for the ancient city alone, Pompei+ at €25 with the suburban villas and the shuttle, the 3-day ticket at €30, and an annual pass at €45. Its reduced rate for EU citizens aged 18 to 25 is €2.
Pompeii also opens later, at 9 am, and in summer takes its last entry at 5:30 pm, while bags there are limited to 30 x 30 x 15 cm. See Pompeii, Pompeii or Herculaneum and Campania.
