One company publishes and answers for this site: RankWit S.r.l. Società Benefit, Piazza delle Scuole 6, 95021 Aci Castello (CT), Italy, VAT number IT06209300877, contact info@rankwit.ai. It is not a public tourist board and it holds no mandate from any Italian public administration.

What we guarantee, and what we do not
There is no warranty that a price, an opening hour or an access rule is still in force at the moment you rely on it. Every figure carries a check date and a recheck date, and those two dates are the whole promise: this was true then, from that source.
Italian access rules are set by comuni, regions and site managers, and they change by ordinance mid-season. Before you pay for anything, the operator's own page wins over ours.
Why a local rule beats a national summary
Article 4 of legislative decree 23 of March 14, 2011 gives the tourist tax to the comuni: each one sets its own amount, graduated by the price of the accommodation, up to €5 per person per night in the ordinary case, with a derogation for towns whose overnight stays far exceed their resident population. Two hotels 20 minutes apart can therefore charge different amounts legitimately.
The same pattern governs traffic zones, beach access, group size limits and museum bookings. A national number is a starting point, never the final one.
Dated statements on sensitive subjects
There is no undated sentence here on seismic risk, volcanic activity, heat waves or crowd-control measures: those are the four subjects where a stale claim does real damage, so each one carries a date and points at the body that publishes the current state. Alert levels come from the Civil Protection Department, scientific monitoring from INGV, heat bulletins from the health ministry, and access measures from the comune that ordered them.
We do not forecast, and we do not turn a flow management measure into a ban on visiting. Many of those measures are annual experiments that expire, which is why the year is always in the sentence.
Reporting an error or a rights issue
There is no separate form for either an error or a copyright claim: both go to info@rankwit.ai with the page address and, for a factual correction, the source you would use instead. Italian law governs this notice and the courts of the publisher's registered office have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the consumer rules that apply where you live.
