Musei Reali, Turin: one €15 ticket, closed on Wednesday

One €15 ticket to the Musei Reali in Turin covers Palazzo Reale, the Galleria Sabauda, the Museum of Antiquities, the Royal Library and the Royal Gardens for the whole day, and the complex closes on Wednesdays (2026).

Five places, one day, €15

The Musei Reali ticket costs €15 and gives a full day in five places: Palazzo Reale, the Galleria Sabauda, the Museum of Antiquities, the Royal Library and the Royal Gardens (2026).

Ages 18 to 25 pay €2, and groups of seven or more pay €13 each. Entry is free for under 18s, visitors with a disability and their companion, holders of the Abbonamento Musei or the Torino+Piemonte Card, and ICOM members.

The annual Open pass costs €18, €3 more than a single visit. If there is any chance you'll be back in Turin within the year, the pass is the obvious buy.

Closed on Wednesday, not Monday

The Musei Reali open Thursday to Tuesday, 9 am to 7 pm, with last entry at 6 pm, and close on Wednesday (2026).

A Wednesday closure is rare among Italian state museums, most of which shut on Monday. That makes the Musei Reali a good Monday plan in Turin and a bad Wednesday one.

The complex warns that in some weeks the closure shifts to Tuesday, so look at the calendar for your dates before building a day around it.

One ticket, and an hour's margin

Last entry is at 6 pm, one hour before the 7 pm close.

Five places on one day ticket is a lot for one hour. Arriving after lunch still gives you most of an afternoon, but arriving at 5:30 pm to use the ticket means choosing one building and leaving the rest. Start with the part you care most about, since the gardens are the easiest to cut.

The core zone is 370.82 hectares, with a buffer zone of 6,931.47. The architects named in the listing are Filippo Juvarra, Guarino Guarini and Benedetto Alfieri.

With the Mole: Wednesday and Tuesday

The Mole Antonelliana closes on Tuesday and opens Monday and Wednesday to Sunday, 9 am to 7 pm (2026), so on a Wednesday, when the Musei Reali are shut, the Mole is open.

In a normal week the two never close on the same day. More at Mole Antonelliana, the city at Turin, and the region at Piemonte.
