Turin's Egyptian Museum sells tickets online only, with no ticket desk at the building, so a walk up visit is not possible: the full price is €18 and it opens every day of the week.
No ticket desk, and what the ticket costs
Tickets are sold exclusively online in 2026 and there is no box office at the museum. Full admission is €18, reduced €15 for over 70s and journalists, €3 for students aged 15 to 18 and for university students, €1 for children aged 6 to 14, and €36 for a family of two adults and two children. Prices in euros.
Free entry covers under 6s, disabled visitors with a companion and ICOM members. Buy before you set off, and choose the slot in the app rather than at the door, because there is no door to buy at.
Open seven days, with a short Monday
Monday hours are 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, Tuesday to Friday and Sunday 9:00 am to 6:30 pm, and Saturday 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, with last entry one hour before closing (2026). There is no weekly closing day.
In a country where Monday closure is the default, that is worth building a trip around. If you arrive in Piedmont on a Monday, this is the collection that is open while others are dark. See getting to Turin.
The Mole: three ways to pay
The Museo Nazionale del Cinema inside the Mole Antonelliana costs €18, or €16 reduced. The panoramic lift on its own is €9, or €7 reduced, and the combined museum plus lift ticket is €23, or €20 reduced (2026).
Under 6s and ICOM members go free. The lift only ticket is the sensible one on a clear afternoon if you have already spent a morning indoors, and the museum only ticket if the weather has closed in. See the Mole Antonelliana.
Musei Reali: five places, one day
A €15 ticket admits you for the whole day to Palazzo Reale, the Galleria Sabauda, the Museo di Antichità, the Biblioteca Reale and the Royal Gardens. EU visitors aged 18 to 25 pay €2, under 18s go free, and groups of seven or more pay €13 each.
The annual Open pass is €18, which is €3 more than a single day, so anyone coming back within a year should buy that instead. Free entry also covers disabled visitors with a companion and holders of the Abbonamento Musei, the Torino+Piemonte Card and ICOM cards. See the Musei Reali.
12 kilometers of arcade, not 18
The Comune di Torino puts the arcade system at over 12 linear kilometers, running along via Roma, via Po, via Pietro Micca, via Cernaia, via Sacchi, corso Vittorio Emanuele II, corso Vinzaglio and via Nizza, plus the ceremonial squares: piazza Castello, piazza San Carlo, piazza Vittorio Veneto, piazza Statuto and piazza Carlo Felice.
The 18 km number that keeps appearing in the press is not confirmed by the municipal source, so we use the city's own figure. Either way, the practical value is the same: you can cross most of the center in rain without an umbrella. See Piedmont.

Averages for 1991 to 2020 from the ERA5-Land and ERA5 reanalysis (Copernicus, ECMWF), grid point at 239 m, extracted September 11, 2026. Data: Open-Meteo, CC BY 4.0.
A reanalysis is a model rebuilt from observations, not a weather station. Its values can differ from the station normals quoted in the text, most of all on the coast and in the mountains. It describes the typical month, not a forecast.
