The Cinque Terre Card exists in two versions for 2026, Treno and Trekking, and the Treno Card has no fixed price: an adult day runs €22.00 to €35.00 in high season depending on how busy the day you choose is.
What the card costs, and where that lives
Two cards cover the park, Treno and Trekking, and both are priced across three demand bands rather than a fixed list. The Cinque Terre Card page carries the 2026 figures and the seasonal split; this page stays on the ground.
What the Treno Card covers, and where the trains go
The Treno Card includes unlimited second class travel on the regional trains of the La Spezia to Cinque Terre to Levanto line for the validity of the card, and that line is the internal transport of the five villages.
It also covers the paid trails, the Via dell'Amore on reservation, the buses inside the villages, the guided visits of the Cinque Terre Walking Park, the station toilets and the park wifi hotspots.
The road above the villages is not an alternative and parking is not a plan. If you are here without a car, the Treno Card is the answer to how you move; if you are here with one, it is still the answer.
The Via dell'Amore: 400 an hour, booked
The Via dell'Amore between Riomaggiore and Manarola costs €10.00 as a supplement on any Cinque Terre Card and cannot be walked without a reservation. Capacity is 4003 people an hour, admitted in groups of 1003 every 15 minutes, with organized groups capped at 30.
In high season it runs one way only, from Riomaggiore towards Manarola. Hours are 8:00 am to 7:00 pm from April 1 to October 31, last entry 6:30 pm, and 9:30 am to 5:00 pm from November 1 to March 31, last entry 4:30 pm. Residents do not book.
It reopened in 2024 after more than ten years closed, which is why demand outruns the 4003 an hour. Book it before you book anything else about your day here.
The trails: open is not the same as walkable
As of September 1, 2026 the Sentiero Verde Azzurro, path 5924, cannot be walked end to end: stretch 5924-2 between Manarola and Corniglia is closed, with a compulsory detour by way of Volastra.
The other three stretches are open. 5924-1 from Riomaggiore to Manarola is the Via dell'Amore, graded as a tourist path and subject to the booking above. 5924-3 from Corniglia to Vernazza and 5924-4 from Vernazza to Monterosso are both graded for experienced walkers, which is not a formality on wet rock.
For 2026 the park cut the card down to the two types above, removing the Plus category and folding Via dell'Amore access into both, with the new prices in force from March 2026. Trail status changes after every storm, so check the day before you walk. See the Blue Trail, the Cinque Terre Card and Liguria.
